| Looking Up Again.
A new glass block window with a venting panel is installed, and the area is properly insulated. As the ceiling is prepared, an access hatch is carefully cut away to allow access to plumbing shut off valves for the first floor (as can be seen in the upper left of the photo).

| Taking Shape.
As our laundry area begins to take its final shape, visible in the upper left corner are the circular caps allowing access to plumbing service valves, as mentioned previously.

| A Better Use Of Space.
Illumination from the newly installed fan/light fixture highlights the additional space made available by elimating the old, unused roll-in shower, now used to spacisiously house the wasing machine, which takes residence in its new home to the left of the laundry tub. You can also see that new composition vinyl flooring has been installed, with, again, the old roll-in shower's floor drain being preserved. A sliding door allows access to a storage area beyond the former roll-in shower space.

| Brighter And More Accessible.
The new dryer location to the right of the laundry tub allows direct ventilation to the exterior via the panel in the newly installed glass block window. The breaker box is also now unobstructed. The new cabinet for the laundry tub features a removable front panel for easy access and servicing. The new locations of the washer and dryer allow for greater efficiency and use of the room's entire space.

| One Last Look In The Corner.
A new countertop has been custom crafted for the corner cabinet unit, and a new GFI outlet has also been provided to increase the potential usefulness of the counter space. A fresh coat of paint has also been applied to the cabinet. The new floor adds a finishing touch to a much brighter, more efficient laundry space.
