| Taking Up The Floor.
The floor tile has also been removed from the former roll-in shower, and the floor beneath blended with the surrounding area. The shower drain is preserved.

| Preparing The Walls.
Here we prepare the walls for recovering, first using a layer of exterior grade plywood to which the final covering will be secured. The small, circular cap visible toward the bottom left-center allows access to the upper floor drain clean out for easy servicing.

| Looking Up.
As the wall and ceiling prep continues in the former roll-in shower area, we're also taking care of ventilation issues. The blue arrow indicates where a non-functioning exhaust fan has been replaced by a new, efficient fan/light combination, utilizing the old fan box as an exhaust port via the metal tube seen in the photo.

| The Tub.
A new custom crafted cabinet for the laundry tub is being constructed. When complete, the new cabinet will allow the front panel to be removed for servicing. The small blue patches indicate the locations of the new outlets for the washer and dryer, which will be located on either side of the tub.

| Covering Up.
Here we have begun installation of new, pebble textured fiberglass panels, featuring white ceilings to brighten the space and almond colored wall panels for aesthetic contrast. These panels are secured both by adhesive and by mechanical fasteners.
